Nicole
After 11 years of serving in the U.S. Air Force, Nicole pursued her undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. In exactly one year as a Radio Frequency Engineer, Nicole started her esthetician journey with Paul Mitchell the School in Costa Mesa, CA. That was where the name Pillowtalk Salon and Spa was born.
The day after she passed her Esthetician license, she moved to Albuquerque, NM on September 17th, 2014. Her first job in the beauty industry was at the Benefit Brow Bar, which eventually led her into starting her own at-home business 6 months later. She entered the world of Permanent Makeup (PMU) by 2017. She learned how to tattoo brows, eyeliner, lips and 3D areolas. In 2019, Nicole decided to train under world renowned Jeff “Picasso” and Masoud with LDRSMP in the art of Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP).
Nicole finally opened a location that was open to the public in 2020. She enjoys the variety of services offered and is totally engaged in not only doing her business, but also growing her business. She plans to continue to serve her community with quality workmanship, professionalism and a heart of gratitude!
Chiqui
Chiqui became a cosmetologist in 2012 and has never looked back! She is constantly learning new techniques and styles to bring to her faithful clientele. She returned to school for her Master Barber licensure in 2019 and has become fluid in her fades. Chiqui has a passion for creating the perfect cut and style for each person and takes detailed notes to remember the customized cut for her guest. Come and try out a Chiqui Cut!!
